A van off the road is lost work. Tools stuck in the back, jobs pushed, customers ringing. So we don't ask you to bring it anywhere. Tell us where the van is and we come to it: the job site, the depot, the driveway or the hard shoulder.
We fit tyres on everything from small car-derived vans up to transit-size panel vans, and we bring the correct load-rated tyre for the vehicle, not just something that happens to fit the rim. Give us the registration, or the size off the sidewall, and we sort the rest. We cover Manchester and all of Greater Manchester.

Load ratings, commercial tyres and doing the job properly
Van tyres are not car tyres with a bigger price tag. A loaded panel van puts far more weight through each corner than a car ever does, which is why commercial tyres carry reinforced sidewalls and a higher load index. Fit a tyre with too low a rating and it runs hot, wears fast and can fail under load. It can also cause you grief with insurance. When you call, we check what the van actually needs, usually from the registration, and quote for the right fitment.
The job itself works the same wherever the van is standing. The fitter arrives with the tyre already on board, gets the van up on a proper jacking point, strips the old tyre off the rim, fits and seats the new one, fits a new valve, balances the wheel and torques the nuts to spec. The old tyre goes in our van, not your yard. If you've picked up a puncture and the damage sits in the repairable area of the tread, we'll repair it to British Standard instead of selling you a tyre you don't need. On a van that spends its life loaded, we'll only repair where it's genuinely safe to do so, and we'll show you the damage either way.
If you run a few vans, the same service scales without any paperwork. We can come to the yard or depot, do several tyres or several vans in one visit, and time it for the evening or the weekend so nothing misses a shift. Before you call
Do you fit commercial and load-rated van tyres?
Yes. Vans need tyres with the correct load index, usually a reinforced or C-marked commercial tyre, because a loaded van carries far more weight per wheel than a car. Fitting an under-rated tyre is a safety risk and can invalidate your insurance. Give us the registration when you call and we'll confirm the rating the van needs before quoting.
Can you come to a job site or our yard?
Yes, that's most of our van work. We fit on driveways, car parks, building sites, yards and depots. All we need is for the van to be parked somewhere we can safely get a jack under it and stand at the wheel. If access is tight or the site has restrictions, mention it on the phone and we'll plan around it.
Can you change the tyres in the evening so I don't lose a day's work?
Yes. We're open 24 hours, so a lot of tradespeople book us in for the evening once the van is back and unloaded. The tyres are changed while the van would be sat idle anyway, and it's ready for the first job next morning. The price is agreed on the phone the same as any other time of day.
I run more than one van. Can you do several tyres in one visit?
Yes. Tell us on the phone what needs doing across the vans, with registrations or sizes, so the right stock is loaded before we set off. We'll do the lot in one visit at your yard or depot and agree one price for the whole job up front. No contracts and no account paperwork, just book it in when the vans need it.
